GRACE: Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events
Methodology

Data Collection

ACS patients may be identified and treated in various locations within the hospital. A standardized Case Report Form (CRF) has been designed to capture information on patient management delivered within any location throughout the course of hospitalization.

Data will be collected at each registry hospital by a designated study coordinator who has been trained to abstract and record data on the CRF. Unique identifiers will be removed from data prior to transmission to the study coordinating centre, which will protect the confidentiality of patients, physicians and hospitals.
